After breakfast, begin your exciting exploration at the famous Giza Plateau, where the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure rise from the golden desert bedrock. Unlike traditional museums, GEM was specially designed as an amazing chronological journey, guiding visitors from Egypt’s ancient prehistoric roots through the rise of the pharaonic kingship and empire. You will see the attractive highlights include the priceless collection of Tutankhamun’s treasures, displayed together in the same place for the first time. You will enjoy a fresh breakfast at your hotel in the early morning. You will meet your professional tour leader to get ready for an early departure by private air-conditioned and comfortable vehicle to Bahariya Oasis, which is a fertile and beautiful depression surrounded by many arid wilderness.

Your first stop is the charming Valley of the Golden Mummies, which is an extraordinary and fabulous Greco-Roman necropolis where hundreds of gilded mummies were discovered, showing how the ancient Egyptian burial traditions adapted under the famous Roman rule while preserving core beliefs about the afterlife.

You will visit the Spectacular Tombs of the Nobles, carved into hillsides, revealing breathtaking scenes of daily oasis life, agriculture, trade, and holy religious rituals, which were painted by the most famous local elites who strongly governed Bahariya during the Late Period.

Explore the famous Temple of Alexander the Great, believed to mark the important moment when Alexander was recognised as a powerful pharaoh during his journey to the dazzling Oracle of Siwa. Nearby stands the stunning Temple of Ein El-Meffetla, dedicated to many deities, demonstrating how oasis temples functioned as important and famous regional spiritual centres rather than grand state monuments.

Enjoy a traditional Bedouin oasis lunch before climbing the high Black Mountain, formed from strong ancient volcanic activity. At the high summit lie the beautiful remains of the well-known English House, which is a British military lookout from World War I, offering wide panoramic views. You will be transferred to your cosy hotel in Bahariya.

You will have a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Bahariya, then you will depart by a strong 4×4 jeep into Egypt’s magnificent desert landscapes. You will explore the beautiful Black Desert, where the dark iron-rich volcanic stones coat the high hills like ash from a long-extinguished fire, remnants of strong eruptions dating back millions of years.

Stop at the impressive Crystal Mountain, which is a natural ridge of the stunning quartz crystals formed when hydrothermal activity forced mineral-rich fluids through limestone fractures, creating a sparkling and enchanting geological wonder.

Then we will move to the fabulous Valley of Agabat, which was once an ancient and wide seabed. Its towering and beautiful cliffs and sweeping sand corridors were carved by the strong wind and water long before human memory, making it one of Egypt’s most dramatic and amazing natural amphitheatres.

We will go to the magical White Desert, which is famous for its unique chalk formations sculpted into amazing mushroom, animal, and abstract shapes by relentless and rough desert winds.

Enjoy a freshly prepared Bedouin dinner and an unforgettable night under a blue sky filled. You will spend the night at a comfortable camp in the massive White Desert.
