Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will meet your professional tour leader, who will smoothly transfer you to your magnificent Nile Cruise. Begin your exciting journey in the beautiful city of Aswan, known for its Nubian charm and granite quarries. After meeting your professional and expert Egyptologist guide, you’ll explore:
You will see the impressive Aswan High Dam to learn more about how this modern and genius engineering marvel reshaped Egypt’s economy and agriculture by controlling the strong Nile’s floods and creating the beautiful Lake Nasser, which is one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.
You will visit the stunning Unfinished Obelisk. Step inside the massive ancient stone quarries to witness a rare and magnificent “work-in-progress” monument. This huge obelisk offers unique insight into ancient stone-carving techniques and the great challenges faced by ancient engineers.
You will visit the amazing Philae Temple. Sail by a traditional motorboat to the beautifully relocated island temple dedicated to the famous Isis, goddess of love and magic. You will see the enchanting Colossi of Memnon of Amenhotep III, which were once guardians of a vast and impressive mortuary temple. Hear about the ancient and mysterious singing phenomenon that fascinated many travellers in Greek and Roman times.
After finishing this amazing tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise for lunch and a relaxing afternoon on board.
