Tour Plan
Start your fantastic day with us when our tour guide picks you up anywhere in Cairo or Giza and drives you in a private, luxurious car to the Dahshur Necropolis. The Dahshur region is located about ten kilometers south of Saqqara, and we travel along a paved agricultural road that runs parallel to the plateau, where we can take in the stunning palm plantations, verdant surroundings, and the wonderful atmosphere.
The stone pyramids of Snefru are located in the desert, rising far above it. King Snefru, the father of Cheops, who ruled Egypt for more than 24 years (2561–2538 BC), constructed the magnificent early Pyramids of Egypt, which are located about 35 kilometers from the center of Cairo.
It is also well-known for its campaign to restore security and stability to Egypt’s southern frontiers. One of King Snefru’s three pyramids, the Red Pyramid, which is the third largest pyramid after the Pyramids of Cheops and Chephren, the Meidum Step Pyramid, which was his first attempt at constructing a tomb for himself, and the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, which is a superb illustration of the stage between the construction of stepped pyramids (mastabas) and the perfectly shaped triangular pyramids, is where he was buried.
