Day 2 : Giza pyramids, Grand Museum and Memphis city

Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: it was not a huge stone tomb for the glory of kings; it was actually a comprehensive human, spiritual, and philosophical project, in which the ancient Egyptians expressed their religious beliefs and deep faith in life and immortality in the afterlife.

Secondly, visit the valley temple: the Valley Temple of King Khafre is where the pharaoh’s body was mummified and prepared, after which it was transported in a grand procession to a temple located directly next to the pyramid, known as the funerary temple.

Proceed with your tour to the Grand Museum: One of the most important cultural projects in Egypt in the 21st century, but also a global cultural and civilizational symbol that reflects Egypt’s ability to combine its ancient heritage with modern display technologies.

Continue your tour to the city of Memphis, considered one of the greatest capitals of ancient Egypt. It served as the capital of Egypt and a religious centre, and was named Enp Huj, meaning ‘white walls’. The capital was the center of trade in Egypt, the base of the ruling king, and the site of large religious temples.

Day3: fly to Luxor city

Your car will be ready in the morning to transfer you to the airport to fly to Luxor. When you arrive, you will start your tour to discover the beauty of the city.

The Karnak Temple is actually a group of temples rather than a single temple. The temple contains many statues and murals depicting Egyptian kings and deities. Many kings participated in the construction of the temple, including Thutmose III, Akhenaten, and Ramses II.

Abu el-Qasr is a large temple from the complex of ancient Egyptian temples. It is one of the best preserved and most beautiful Egyptian temples, and it clearly illustrates the layout of Egyptian temples. Egyptologists confirmed that Luxor Temple is the only place in the world where a number of human civilizations have converged, including the Pharaonic, Roman, Macedonian, Nubian, Coptic, and Islamic civilizations.

The temple bears witness to Queen Hatshepsut’s achievements and the religious and political climate in ancient Egypt.

Your tour will continue to a gorgeous site. Have you ever wondered where the greatest pharaohs are buried? It is the Valley of the Kings. This place is full of tombs decorated with amazing inscriptions, which still retain their charm to this day. It contains more than 60 royal tombs, some of which are open to visitors, and others are undergoing restoration work to preserve their treasures. If you have enough time, you will visit the Memnon statues in the golden desert of Luxor.
