Nearby, explore the wonderful Temple of Derr, a rock-cut sanctuary commissioned by Ramses II, known for its calm interior and unique atmosphere and finely detailed reliefs. Conclude the visit at the amazing Tomb of Pennut, offering intimate scenes of daily life and the most important religious beliefs from the perspective of a high-ranking Nubian official.

Sail toward the famous Wadi El Seboua, where desert silence and amazing monumental architecture blend dramatically. Visit the charming Temple of Wadi El Seboua, originally approached by a long avenue of sphinxes. Continue to the old-standing Temple of Dakka, dedicated to Thoth, the famous god of wisdom. Its layered and special construction by the powerful Nubian and Greco-Roman rulers reveals how the beautiful sacred sites evolved over many centuries.

Nearby, the Temple of Maharraqa stands out for its unfinished and amazing spiral staircase, which is an architectural curiosity that suggests an ambitious yet incomplete and unique design.

Return to the cruise for a relaxed and enjoyable evening sail toward Aswan.

After having a hearty breakfast, visit the impressive Kalabsha Temple Complex, which is the largest free-standing Nubian temple relocated during the important UNESCO rescue campaign. This wonderful temple was dedicated to the god Mandulis. The temple features unique Roman-era inscriptions and commanding views over the enchanting Lake Nasser.

Explore the nearby stunning Kiosk of Qertassi, admired for its graceful and incredible columns and symbolic reliefs. You will also see Beit El Wali Temple, whose spectacular colourful wall scenes depict the great Ramses II’s military achievements and interactions with Nubian leaders.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport or your hotel in Aswan.
