Upon arrival in Aswan, meet your professional and friendly Egyptologist guide and transfer to the Mövenpick MS Royal Lily Nile Cruise for fast embarkation before lunch. Sail onward to Edfu while enjoying a yummy lunch onboard. You will visit the charming Edfu Temple of Horus, which is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, built during the famous Ptolemaic period. This old-standing temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of great protection and kingship.

We will take you back to the cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor.

After a hearty breakfast, arrive in Luxor and begin your exploration tour to the East Bank. You will explore the outstanding Karnak Temple Complex, which is the largest and most famous religious complex in ancient Egypt. This admirable temple is
famous for the Great and massive Hypostyle Hall with 134 towering columns. The temple was built over more than 2,000 years by multiple and great pharaohs.

You will also visit the breathtaking Luxor Temple, which is located in the heart of the impressive city of Luxor and was once connected to Karnak by the Avenue of dazzling Sphinxes. This wonderful temple was dedicated to the great rejuvenation of kingship and beautifully illuminated in the evening.

After enjoying your last breakfast, check out and begin your final tour on the West Bank of Luxor. You will visit the amazing Valley of the Kings, which is a unique burial site of the powerful pharaohs of the New Kingdom. This valley includes many tombs, which are richly decorated with scenes from the famous Book of the Dead.

You will see the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is a unique terraced temple honouring Egypt’s most powerful and beautiful female ruler. This temple was built against the huge, dramatic limestone cliffs.

You will see the famous and old-standing Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive seated statues representing the great Pharaoh Amenhotep III. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your final departure.
