The Pyramids of Giza are located on the Giza enchanting plateau. They were built about 25 centuries BC, between 2480 and 2550 BC, and include three pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.

The pyramids are royal tombs, each bearing the name of the king who built it and was buried in it, and pyramidal construction here is a stage in the development of tomb architecture in ancient Egypt.

The Sphinx is one of the largest statues in the world, measuring 20 metres tall and 73 metres wide, with a lion’s body and a human head, adorned with a royal headdress, carved from a single piece of limestone, and according to some estimates, it took about three years to build by 100 workers

Next, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum is one of the greatest cultural and civilisational projects of the modern era, it is not just a museum to display antiquities, but a huge gateway that opens the pages of ancient Egyptian history to the world

Continue the tour to the Hanging church: The importance of this church is due to the fact that it was the first papal headquarters in Cairo, where the sixteenth patriarch ‘Chrestodeles’ used it in the seventh century in an unofficial capacity and this continued until the thirteenth century, after which the papal headquarters moved to the Roe Church in the Al-Roum neighbourhood

The tour goes to Abu Serga church: It was an important stop on the Holy Family’s journey to Egypt, also known as the Church of the Cave; historians confirm that it is the oldest church in ancient Egypt and even in all of Cairo.

Visit one of the most important and oldest synagogues in Egypt, it contained many precious books related to Jewish customs and traditions

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Overnight in Cairo Hotel

Day 3: Discovering Alexandria

Start discovering the beautiful city of Alexandria with your transfer from Cairo.  You will visit the citadel of Qitaby that was built at the end of the Faro Island after the fall of the Alexandria Lighthouse following a devastating earthquake during the reign of Sultan Al-Nasser bin Qalawun. The castle is surrounded by internal walls and surrounded by external walls.

Catacombs is a global and cultural term, Latin in origin, made up of the words ‘tumbas’ and “cata” meaning ‘among the graves’, or what is now known as the catacombs. Catacombs are modelled on the Roman tombs found in underground tunnels in the city of Rome and follow Pharaonic Egyptian burial rituals

In this photo taken on 8 February 2022, the interior of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in Alexandria, Egypt. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a unique and massive library and cultural symbol of the Mediterranean port city of Alexandria founded by Alexander the Great some 2,300 years ago, features an exterior design in the shape of a sun disc emerging from the sea and 11 interior levels, all under one shiny, sloping roof.

The highest monument in the world: The Column of the Masts in Alexandria The Column of the Masts has been mistakenly known since the Crusades as the Column of Pompeii, because Europeans mistook the head of the Roman commander Pompey

Finally, enjoy walking on the beautiful beach of Alexandria and taking your delicious sea food meal.

Day 4: El Alemain Tour

El Alamein Cemetery, where thousands of World War II casualties lie, is a testament to its bitterness, epitomised by a phrase written on a pharaonic obelisk calling for respect for life. In the centre of the German cemetery, a pharaonic obelisk with upright falcons stands, a symbol of eternity and a reminder that those who died far from home were buried in a country that has revered the dead for thousands of years.

Al Alamein Military Museum: The Al Alamein Military Museum is a living panorama that commemorates the Battle of El Alamein and the end of the Second World War, which lasted for years. It includes exhibition halls for military artefacts, battle maps, and some of the personal belongings of army commanders.

Day 5 : Travel to Luxor / Luxor tour

Get ready for your transfer with comfort and safety to be transferred to the Cairo Airport to take your flight to Luxor. Once your flight arrive, your representative will meet you to start your tour to Karnak Temple.  One of Luxor’s most important landmarks. Its construction began during the Middle Kingdom period in 2000 BC. Each king added something new to these temples ‘to draw closer to the gods, according to the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians, and out of a desire for immortality and great fame among the people.’ Its construction lasted for about two thousand years.

Continue your tour to Luxor temple : The Temple of Luxor is considered one of the most important ancient historical monuments, demonstrating the permanence and immortality of Pharaonic civilisation. It is one of the most important ancient temples, explaining many important Pharaonic events through hieroglyphics, symbols and drawings that appeared on the walls and ceilings of the temple. Now it’s the time to check in your Nile cruise and relax taking your delicious lunch.

Day6 : Memnon, Hatshepsut, and Valley of kings tour

Your tour begins with Hatshepsut Temple: Hatshepsut Temple in Deir el-Bahari, Luxor, Egypt. Feel the weight of history on your shoulders as you step into the majestic world of this famous temple. Set amid the stunning landscape of Luxor, Hatshepsut Temple stands as a testament to the extraordinary achievements of ancient Egypt. As you run your fingers over the intricate carvings and hieroglyphics, you will be transported back to a time when pharaohs ruled with absolute power.

A trip to the Valley of the Kings is your ticket to an extraordinary adventure! Located on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor, the Valley of the Kings is a treasure trove of ancient wonders. More than 60 tombs are carved into the rocky cliffs surrounding the valley, each serving as a gateway to the afterlife for the ancient Egyptians.

Finally, you will visit two statues of Memnon which date back to Amenhotep III, one of the most prominent kings of the 18th dynasty who ruled Egypt for 38 years, but they became commonly known as ‘Memon’ after they were damaged by an earthquake in 27 BC. These two giant colossi have stood for thousands of years on the right side of the road leading to the tombs of the kings and queens in the Valley of the Kings, and the rest of the temples scattered across the western bank of Luxor Governorate, guarding the road and all the temples to the west. They are the ‘Colossi of Memnon,’ located on the road leading to the temples, tombs, and monasteries west of Luxor.

Day 7 : Kom-Ombo and Edfu temple

The Temple of Kom Ombo is unique among Egyptian temples in several ways, most notably as the only double-axis temple in ancient Egyptian civilisation. One can only sense this duality inside the temple through the sanctity of the sanctuaries and the scenes depicted there. Those on the right side of the entrance are for Sobek-Ra, while those on the left are for Horus the Elder.

Besides, enjoy the sunset and the lunch aboard your Nile cruise while sailing to Edfu city.  You will visit the ancient temple of Edfu, which is one of Egypt’s most prominent archaeological landmarks. It was built during the Ptolemaic period on the banks of the Nile in the city of Edfu in the governorate of Aswan. Despite the centuries that have passed since its construction, it still hides many secrets behind its towering walls.

Day 8: Aswan sights tour

The first destination is the unfinished obelisk: It is a pink granite obelisk in Aswan, Egypt. It is located in the northern part of a quarry, and the exact date of its excavation is unknown. It is believed that work on it began during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut with the intention of transporting it to the Karnak Temple in Luxor. After the ancient Egyptian workers had carved the obelisk on three sides, in preparation for removing it from the quarry and completing its preparation, they discovered a crack in it that rendered it unusable. The workers, therefore, stopped working on it.

Continue your tour to the High Dam which is a big project. The primary objective of its construction was to curb the flooding caused by the Nile River. Another objective was to use it as a source of electricity generation. The dam is 3,600 metres long and 980 metres wide at its base.

Now you are going to see the most important of these landmarks is the Temple of Philae, which dates back to the third century BC. It is one of the most prominent temples built by Ptolemy II Philadelphus, and was dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of Horus.

Day 9 : Abu simbel temple Tour

Check our from your Nile cruise ship to start your tour to the Abu Simbel Temple in Aswan Governorate is one of the most famous archaeological temples in Egypt. The importance of the Great Temple of Abu Simbel stems from its connection to the phenomenon of the sun shining directly on the face of the statue of Pharaoh Ramses II twice a year, on 22 October and 22 February. This temple was built by King Ramses II, the most famous king of Egypt in the modern era, who is believed to have ascended the throne in his late teens and ruled Egypt.

Be ready for your flight to Cairo after finishing your tour from Aswan airport
