Siwa Oasis Desert Safari from Cairo 5 Days, 4 Nights

Proceed to Um Ubeyda to see the Temple of Amun Ra, which was constructed in honor of the triad of Amun. After learning about the traditions of the Bedouin tribes in Siwa, visit the Siwa House Museum to experience the distinctive Siwan history. Then, eat lunch at Abdo restaurant in the Oasis, a well-known square with a view of the Shali Fortress.
After spending an enjoyable afternoon swimming and dipping in the brilliant natural water at Cleopatra Spring (Ein Guba), you will be taken to Fitnas Island to witness a once-in-a-lifetime sunset.

After eating your breakfast at the eco-lodge, you will embark on the Great Sand Sea tour, stopping first in Maraki village to visit a unique archeological site at the majestic Siwa Mountain to see the first human footprint ever found. After that, we will continue our safari tour in Siwa Oasis between the dunes until we reach the fossils area, where we will see the rocky, Cambrian-era fossilized coral reefs.

Drive to one of the amazing locations in the terrific Sand Sea, a stunning lake in the heart of the desert where you can swim in the chilly water while taking in the tranquility of the desert and taking a soothing bath.

After sandboarding, enjoy another amazing sunset at the Great Sand Sea in the middle of the dunes while sipping Bedouin tea. Sandboarding is not as fast as snowboarding, but with the right way, you can shoot down some of the massive dunes in the Great Sand Sea and have plenty of thrills. After sandboarding, it’s time to wash up in the hot spring known as Bir Wahid, which is renowned for chilling and relaxing our muscles thanks to the 40-degree warm water.
