Your amazing day tour begins with pick-up from your Cairo or Giza hotel by your professional Egyptologist guide. We will transfer you to the Giza Plateau, and your guide will introduce the history of the ancient pyramids and the significance of the ancient Egyptian worldview. Upon your arrival, you will see the Great Pyramid of Khufu. This massive monument was once 146 meters high and remains the most mathematically and breathtakingly precise pyramid ever constructed. You will visit the middle Pyramid of Khafre, which is slightly smaller but visually taller due to its elevated foundation. Khafre’s pyramid still preserves some of its original and amazing white casing stones near the top. You will see the last Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three, known for its unique and charming granite base, which represents the great strength and spiritual grounding.
Your journey continues to the giant Great Sphinx, the colossal guardian carved from a unique single block of limestone. You will see the Valley Temple, which is a remarkably well-preserved structure used for mummification rituals and royal ceremonies. You will enjoy the most delicious lunch meal. Then you will leave Giza and travel across the ancient city to the Fustat district, home of the NMEC—a groundbreaking and impressive museum covering the full spectrum of Egyptian history.
